I. Project Background
In 2023, Ukrainian urban heating networks, heat exchange stations, and centralized heating lines suffered from aging equipment, seal failures, and insufficient network pressure. Replacement with specialized HVAC valves and equipment suitable for low temperatures, high temperatures, and aging was necessary to ensure a stable supply of heating for residents during the winter. Leveraging the demand in the Eastern European HVAC infrastructure market, Yuming supplied heating-specific valves in bulk, assisting in the reconstruction and upgrading of the local heating network.
II. Project Conditions and Requirements
Ukraine experiences harsh winters with large temperature differences. The heating network operates under demanding conditions of high-temperature hot water, alternating hot and cold water, and frequent opening and closing, placing extremely high demands on valve quality:
• Compatible with municipal primary and secondary heating networks and heat exchange station piping systems, meeting the needs for high-flow, medium-to-low-pressure transmission.
• Must withstand the low temperatures of winter and the high temperatures of the heating medium, preventing leakage and sealing failure caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
• Products must comply with local HVAC engineering standards, possessing core performance characteristics such as corrosion resistance, aging resistance, flexible opening and closing, and zero leakage.
• Suitable for installation in confined pipe networks, with a compact structure for easy on-site installation and subsequent maintenance.
III. Product Supply Solution
Targeting the specific conditions of the Ukrainian heating network, this project will deliver a batch of Yuming heating-specific fully welded ball valves, soft-seal butterfly valves, flanged gate valves, check valves, and other core HVAC valves. All products are precisely designed. Adapted to Local Engineering Needs:
• Valve body is made of high-strength ductile iron, impact-resistant and corrosion-resistant, suitable for complex outdoor pipe network environments.
• Uses high-quality EPDM sealing material, high temperature resistant and aging-resistant, perfectly suited for heating and hot water supply conditions, with zero leakage during long-term operation.
• Optimized valve body structure, low flow resistance, easy opening and closing, effectively reducing energy consumption of the heating network, suitable for large-flow heat transmission.
• Strictly manufactured in accordance with international HVAC equipment standards, passed full-process water pressure and air tightness tests, and meets the acceptance standards of Eastern European municipal engineering.
IV. Project Results and Value
The successful delivery of the 2023 Ukraine Municipal Heating Project has enabled all valve equipment to be successfully put into operation in the local heating network, effectively solving problems such as leakage, unstable pressure regulation, and frequent maintenance in aging heating networks, and stably ensuring the supply of centralized heating in urban residential areas and public areas during winter.
